Annual Meeting
Medford Arts Center, Inc. (MACI) will hold its Annual Meeting on May 14, 2008 at 7:00 PM at the Royall House Slave Quarters. All are welcome. This has traditionally been a potluck affair; so feel free to bring your favorite dish and/or beverage. MACI will have water and ice on hand, as well as paper goods for serving. We are planning, and have invited, members of the Revitalization Committee to attend and speak to us about their efforts and status. We want all members to come prepared to discuss where and how you’d like to see MACI reach out to the community to continue to promote the arts here in Medford. The Board also wants everyone to be prepared to nominate the new Board Members; it would be great if we could get at least 2 additional Board Members. More heads bring more ideas and vision for Medford arts.
We hope to see you there, as this is an open meeting, and a good time to get to know your fellow artists and the members of our community who have been so supportive of our efforts.
Spring Exhibition at Century Bank:
Also currently on view at TV3, more works by June Holwell, Patricia McCarthy Saunders, and Lisa Tang Liu.
CALL TO ARTISTS! Take a look at opportunities to show your work!
To all MACI Members and Friends:
Medford Arts Center, Inc. (MACI) is excited about 2008! We have many events planned for our members and friends and we wanted to share them with all of you through this mailing. Notices will also be sent out through our e-mail forums periodically throughout the year. To ensure that you stay on our mailing list, please enroll or renew as a member. If you don’t want a membership at this time, and just want to stay apprised of the events, send your contact information, to the address, above.
Of Special Note to Members…..Since MACI wishes to maintain up-to-date memberships, something we want to commit to, all members who paid their membership in 2007, will get their membership extended through 2008. This will allow members to bring their membership payments up to date.
Thereafter, membership payments will be due on January 1st and overdue by January 31st for each year. Anyone renewing throughout the year will be paying for that year which began in January. Any new members paying their first membership fee in the last quarter of the year, will receive the last quarter free and the membership will begin on January of the next year.

MACI Members' Hosting Parties
MACI Members’ will be hosting house parties in all of the months where there is no event planned. (There was a wonderful party held at the home of Adele Travisano on Saturday, November 3rd, with quite a crowd of attendees who enjoyed themselves tremendously in spite of the so called “hurricane” which turned out to be only heavy rain. Door prizes were won by Sharon Kennedy - a print of June Holwell’s watercolor, “Mystic River-Condon Shell”, Claire Semler - a Poetry Howl T-shirt and Audrey Roth - a DVD of Tony Hale's documentary film, "Fishing the Gulf".
